All in all I love this thing! I use it with other continuous lights as a fill light, and it’s perfect for that! I don’t personally have a lot of work zoom meetings but this would also be great to have on the back of your desk to light yourself during work/school from home meetings! Love that it has a spot in the back for batteries so you could even use it without a plug! I haven’t bought the batteries for that yet, but I think it’s a really nice feature!!
I plan to use this light primarily for work from home zoom meetings and maybe experimenting with doing something on youtube and this kit seems like it will more than meet my needs in any possible webcam shoot scenario.
Anyway, really great light kit and perfect for a small or improv desk studio setup or a component in a larger set of these lights for virtually any kind of shoot.
The light set is the game changer if you need to do online classes in a dark environment! My students can see my demo so much better now!
Great Light for teams meetings with my students. Can go from dim to extremely bright at 100%. Also great for photography so far. Needed a light fora photoshoot on Halloween and this will definately do for some ambient lighting. The warmth control is hard to tell in the video but can go from very warm to very cool.
I've been a huge fan of ring lights since I got my first one about two years ago. The one I have now is fantastic, but I wanted something that took up no floor space. I came across this panel light that attaches to the desk and just went for it.
This is exactly what I was wanting! The light is very bright and runs temps from 3000k to 8000k. 4700k happens to be the sweet spot with my camera setup. It has several preset options so you can easy flick through using the included remote. Also has different lighting effects like "screen", SOS, Lightning, etc. They all work as expected and are easy to access.
The actual stand and desk clamp are all metal. The desk clamp can be extended substantially for different mounting scenarios. I was able to open it wide enough to attach to my door frame...not that I'd use it there, though. Haha. The bar can be extended about 10 inches, so the light can be raised or lowered as well as tilted forward and back. Overall, it is extremely sturdy and doesn't shake or wobble with the light attached AND facing down toward my desk. Extremely satisfied with the mount.
